Ideal Hostel Management ("we", "us") is hostel management software operated by Techsolab Pakistan Pvt. Ltd. This policy explains what information we handle and how.
1. Information hostel owners give us
When you register we store your hostel name, phone number, address, email address and password (the password is stored securely by our authentication provider; we cannot read it). Inside the app you may add details about your hostel, rooms, members, staff, fees, salaries, expenses and other records.
2. Information about members and staff
Hostel owners enter details of their members and staff, such as name, father's name, CNIC, phone numbers, photos, fee and salary history. The hostel owner decides what to enter and is responsible for having the right to store it. This data is used only to run that hostel's records and is visible only to that hostel's own accounts.
3. Public listing pages
If an owner turns on the public listing, the hostel's name, city, address, photos, room types, prices, facilities and contact numbers are shown on a public page so students can find the hostel. Member and staff records are never shown publicly.
4. Booking requests
When a student sends a booking request, the details they enter (such as name and phone number) are shared with that hostel's owner so they can respond.
5. Where data is stored
Data is stored with our cloud database and hosting providers. Data is sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
6. Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how the public website is used (pages visited, device type, approximate location). We do not send names, phone numbers or other personal records to analytics. The app uses cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember settings such as language.
7. Emails
If an owner turns on invoice emails, fee invoices are emailed to members' email addresses entered by the owner.
8. Access by our team
Our support team may access an account to help the owner or fix a problem. We do not sell or rent personal data.
9. Your choices
Owners can edit or remove records in the app, and can print or export their lists. To close an account and delete its data, contact us; deletion is permanent.
